The hotel is Located at downtown Wooster and Breakfast is an 1897 historic landmark. The Inn has 6-guest rooms all with non-public baths and luxurious linens and bedding. Five of our guest areas ar set on the second floor and our sixth room in a two bedroom set on the primary floor.
Enjoy the peaceful sitting area on the primary floor, browse the library and relax on our porch. A hospitality area is set as well as a refrigerator furnished drinking water. A full gourmet breakfast is served daily, featuring contemporary baked scones, fruit and/or homemade dry cereal, and an entrée of the day. Coffee associate degreed tea is served in our welcome area an hour before breakfast.
The Inn is walking distance to The school of Wooster and nice downtown restaurants like Oak Grove Eatery, City sq. restaurant, Broken Rocks Café & Bakery, and the Olde Jaol Brewing Co. If Amish Country is your passion, the Inn is simply a twenty minute drive from the Nation's largest Amish community.
The house was a present from China, where Mr. Foss purchased hog hair. The Mr. Foss gifted the home to Zion Lutheran Church to be used as associate degree annex in 1932. Earl and Marie Shaffter are purchased the home in 1942. They used it as their residence and Mrs. Shaffter's law office. The Douglas and Jamie Klingelhoefer are purchased the house in 1995 and completed its scrupulous amount restoration and opened the Bed and Breakfast.
The Lincoln is perfect for a quiet scan or intimate language from its non-public balcony dominating Market Street, or its quaint sitting area incised from the Inn’s grand turret. The tastefully appointed amount furnishings, joined with a combine of comfortable purple velvet reading chairs that enhance the room’s distinctive vogue, blending the past with the gift. A flat screen TV and a portable pilotless air con unit cools the area in hotter months.
